Air TRANSPORTATION COST
Pricing is calculated individually for each case, as every transportation has its own specifics. When accepting a service request, we clarify all details with the customer.
The cost of air transportation is formed from several mandatory and additional components:
- Pickup of the cargo from the supplier (if required, in accordance with the delivery terms).
- Terminal handling at the airport of departure (if required, in accordance with the delivery terms).
- Preparation of shipping documents (AWB).
- The actual air freight rate.
- Terminal charges at the airport of destination (depending on the cargo dimensions and the handling terminal).
- Arrangement of delivery to the consignee (if required, in accordance with the delivery terms).
- Gross weight = the actual cargo weight in kg
- Volumetric weight
The cost of air cargo transportation is calculated individually for each shipment unit and depends on the following factors:
- Actual gross weight of the cargo;
- Volume, including packaging;
- Type of cargo: oversized, branded goods, special categories, etc.;
- Commercial (invoice) value of the goods;
- Seasonal fluctuations;
- Air freight rates set by the airline;
- Fuel surcharge, security surcharge, and other airline and terminal fees;
- Delivery terms: customs clearance, pickup and packaging costs;
- Additional services: weighing, labeling, repacking, cargo photography, loading and unloading.
